  1.  @docholiday8315  Even that, as far as I understand, is nuanced. On a macro-scale, everything is completely deterministic, acting on laws of physics with no deviation. At the micro and nano scale, however, things get rather tricky. While wave functions do map the behavior of quantum particles, they are still inherently probabilistic (due to the Heisenberg Uncertainty principle- you can never know the position and velocity of a particle simultaneously, and the answer collapses when you observe it.) So, the answer is: it's complicated.
