Just Russia, or everyone else? Does nobody get to tell the Solomon Islands whether they can build Chinese ports, too? Or are we making an exception for all the "good" countries

@pedrorequio5515 "Nato is a defensive alliance" Lol, right. And I'm the Queen of England. Who, exactly, was threatening NATO when it bombed Libya? Or Afghanistan? Neither borders any NATO state or was a threat to their sovereignty, yet they attacked them. Even Libya was claimed to be attacking its own people-- not NATO. Why does everyone stick their fingers in their ears and repeat this talking point? NATO, not just European countries in NATO but the organization itself- has bombed multiple countries that did not trigger Article 5. Those attacks by NATO's own definition were not defensive in nature. Please, stop brazenly lying to us, it is disrespectful to even a rat's intelligence. Russia is surrounded--- are you serious? The entire point of containment, as outlined by the US in official policy, was to surround the USSR. The only places that the US has not surrounded Russia are the countries that they haven't dragged into NATO yet.

@TheArneschwindt Lol you're admitting double standards then. You don't care about international laws, you just care about hating Russia. Also why should the US gave a say in anything, since it committed "GENOZIDE" (learn English lmao) in Afghanistan? This is my point. Everything the West is criticizing Russia of doing, it has also done. Any nobody has punished them for that. So why should Russia be punished??

@pedrorequio5515 Russia's dominating concern is security, not hate. None of this is done irrationally. It is all done in anticipation of eventual US surrounding and choking out Russia. They have continued to do this even when Russia posed no threat to Europe, in the early 1990s, even as it was open to democracy and Westernization, the US still pushed for NATO expansion. They could have easily closed the door, and calmed Russia's fears of being surrounded, and eliminated their need to expand and control, once and for all. But they decided to keep playing the geopolitical game. As for Iran, I don't think any deal will go through, given their existing alliance with Russia and China. And since Europe is tied to US foreign policy, there is little hope they would ever make an exception, unless they cut ties with the US.

@pedrorequio5515 And you contradicted yourself there-- Europe tried to take a different path, but can't. It's too deeply connected to the US financially and militarily, which was my whole point. To have true freedom, they would need to cut ties with the US and act as an independent geopolitical force. But they won't, because they're ensnared and make no efforts to become self-sufficient. And do you see the issue? You are saying that American sanctions can be worked around while refusing to acknowledge that they are causing issues for Europe in the first place. The US is waging economic war against China to stop it from developing, and Europe is caught in the crossfire.

@matthewkarloski4775 Did you not see the newspaper headline at the end of the video? Russia and Iran vetoed the pipeline due to environmental concerns. Whatever you may think of that excuse, you cannot say it is just Russia blocking it

Before I answer, you need to first, since I asked first: Who was NATO defending against when it bombed Libya and Afghanistan? Then maybe you will understand, regardless of what Ukraine or Georgia think, why it is Russia doesn't want them to join, no?

@pedrorequio5515 "A mistake" god what a liberal whitewashing. It was an international crime. It needs to be punshed. If you want Putin to answer for his crimes against ukrainians, then bush, clintion, obama, trump, and biden (maybe even carter, supporting deaths quads) all need to be imprisoned by the International Criminal Court. Deal? If not, then Ukraine was "a mistake" too:)) It wasn't Medvedev, it was Putin administration! Just like the west always diverts with the same tactic, no government is responsible for anything:)
