Disclosure of that type (classified!) information is illegal. Whistleblowing has already been interpreted as illegal by the courts if it threatens national security. So you're not really convincing me that there's a meaningful difference between those two. Sounds like you're just talking out your ass "In Russia they literally made laws to jail Navalny and poisoned him" Yes, and there was a CIA plot exposed to assassinate Assange. What's your point? Russia is genocidal? Biden is withholding food aid to Afghan civilians right now, in hopes that the starving people will overthrow their government and replace it with a pro-Western one.   5.  @littlefinger4509  Would not have worked either way, NSA employees are required to sign non-disclosure agreements on the information they find-- (NDAs in military fields were found by US courts to not be a violation of the 1st Amendment). if he didn't flee the country, he would have been imprisoned for revealing the NSA had violated American law. Not very democratic imo

Or do you think the NSA would willingly reveal that information-- you know, after doing the entire surveillance program in secret? I could just as easily say the same thing about Alexei Navalny-- whom the West praises for his defiance of the tyrannical government-- by saying that he, too, broke election fraud law. You could say that the law in rigged, and I could point out US lobbying groups and the revolving door between politics and corporations. My point: someone breaking the law isn't traitorous is immoral, unless your allegiance is only to your government and not the people. If you believe that, then it is you who is a traitor to your own country.

And Russia helped liberate the Balkans from the Ottomans and Cuba from the US, and Vietnam from the French. Georgia attacked its own minority group (Abkhazians) for wanting independence, so they asked Russia to help fight the tyrannical Georgian government. And Chechnya invaded Russia in 1999, not the other way around. Is this the crap they tell you in the West?

There were massive student protests in the 1950s, because the USSR withdrew from North Korea, but the US didn't do the same in the south. So the US supported harsh repressions of the people's protests. What a democratic-loving country! You say that South Korea became rich, but how many US-backed countries didn't? Brazil, Guatemala, Congo, Albania, Indonesia... the list goes on and on. You also forget that South Korea was poor for decades, and became rich on accident. I used to say that Poland's national anthem should say, Dał nam przykład Bonaparte jak przegrywać z Rosją", but now I see you two have one more similarity: you will abandon your own Republican values if it suits your geopolitical interests! At least Russia, for all of its faults, isn't such a hypocritical, self-congratulating country as Poland is, which I can see now.

Because Western media work very hard to make you believe that they are the "good guys". Any foreign press is labeled "misinformation" so you will never hear about the things the US media doesn't want to report on-- because many ex-military work in media, it doesn't matter if a newspaper isn't "government controlled", it technically is.
