  1. Have you tried establishing a club for the language speakers moving to the city? It could be a way for them to meet people they already know and are similar to, and preserve their culture at the same time.

  2. ​ @rammus4930  It might be a good idea to contact as many of these gilak new parents as possible and encourage them to speak it at home. Everyone expects change to happen but it starts with a single person. Also if your local school could teach classes for those children in gilak? If Iran has second-language classes in schools

  3. ​ @yifuyang6188  They can learn both languages. It is not mutually exclusive. This is how most countries operate. A dominant language used to communicate, and a regional language. Everyone speaks Mandarin, but some also speak Teochew, Hokkien, Wu, Oujiang.
