Robin Elliot That's fine, but if we're treating people like villains based on real-life atrocities then why aren't we seeing a videogame with Americans as coldblooded monsters? Or Japanese? Or Chinese? It's all about an easy scapegoat. China gives the U.S. too much money and Japan is an ally because America didn't want it to fall under Soviet control. America (and its people, apparently) are opportunistic and hypocritical.

@demonhunter635 Of course there is a difference, but the U.S. government is involved in a lot more media than you might be aware of. The "we're free" idea is true to an extent, but it can also be used to lull your people into a false sense of security. So much of mainstream media is controlled by monied interests, many of whom are military. In our country it's called bribery, in yours it's 'campaign finance'.

@scottwillie6389 Is Jacob really that Polish? Most of them lose their national identity (rather, get it replaced by an American one) within a few generations. If that were the case, we'd hear the accent.

@scottwillie6389 ...You mean to tell me 'Minkoff' is a Ukrainian last name? Every Anglicized '-off' I've ever seen has been Polish. Otherwise, please do tell 'what he is'. Americans and Poles get along well, so despite Jacob being American, I don't assume that's what you mean.
