  1. TYT must assume that all Christians are idiots... and I thought I had heard Anna endorse education. In response to Cenk's questions: 1) Yes, most Christians know. There is no claim to the divinity of the New Testament. The council of Nicaea organized the books written about Jesus' life (albeit susceptible to inaccuracies; it was written hundreds of years after he died) based on their consistency. The Gnostic Gospels he talks about simply contradict the other books in major ways. Big whoop.  2) Um... no, Genesis 2:9 states that it was a tree of "knowledge of good and evil", not just knowledge. This can also be called the distinction between good and evil. Although he makes an interesting point (which is expressed best in the phrase "ignorance is bliss"), it does not in any way state that God is against knowledge. He told Adam not to eat the fruit. That's knowledge too, isn't it?
