Even the BBC has done interviews with Libyans about their changed opinion— most want Gaddafi back, it beats being in a civil war. Same as Iraq; now they're occupied by the US. And Syria will be much worse off, since they'll lose their land to both Izrael and Turkey.

videre8884 Because they can't get rid of the new dictators. There isn't a utopian solution for these countries until they build themselves enough to expel Western influence. Before then, there can be no true democracy. Assad was Syria's best hope for this. If you really think Syrians will be able to kick out both Iz and Turkey, then you're truly naive and you have earned your fate.
