  1. How stupid and short sighted are these "rebels"? They're gonna have two fight a 2 front war if they want to actually administer Syria. And if they don't? Especially if they make a deal with Izrael— they'll lost legitimacy, and be overthrown by another group. Syria went from a tenuous stability, though gasp! Russian-aligned, to a complete lawless hellscape. Just like the US always wanted.
