@amdarela3645 There's no wall, no healthcare like he promised, the Muslim ban failed, the trade war with China is ongoing, he knew about the virus January but ignored it, what policies has he actually succeeded with?? Sounds like a lot of failure to me

Except that he won't. McConnell won't let him. Even his reputation with his base isn't more important than the money he gets from insurance companies and pharma companies.

@hansonwinx7843 I don't really wanna check that but I'm trusting you're right here— I'm just saying that, as the crisis worsens, fewer people will see him as helpful or (more accurately) active in stopping the deaths. That is, assuming he continues to do nothing. If he does, then only time will tell.

@hansonwinx7843 Oh gee, I wonder if maybe that's because he's the president? That doesn't really compare— the requirement to be "just as close" as Trump is, is to be president. That's a low bar if you're comparing presidents, because it includes... all of them!

@Joylibelle To be fair, he absolutely ruined Brazil. The first peaceful transition of power they had in 100 years by expecting President Goulard, and JFK coups him because "we don't want Brazil to turn into another China". I thought he was against the CIA, he was just trying to save America's skin. It had nothing to do with moral principles. Better a lawless hellhole than a lawful country that we can't control, I guess
