Senator Santiago and Senator Wiener came to an agreement and reinstated the harshest restrictions of SB-822 (Net Neutrality, but with zero-rating restrictions as well). When they pass it, other states will follow. ISPs can complain all they like, but she their business fails, they'll bow to the people.

  5.  @LittleAl016  I was told by a small group leader after asking a complicated question about what Jesus' DNA on his fathers' side would be, that I was "too smart for my own good". There is a strain of thought (ironically) in Abrahamic religion, that questioning the doctrine is linked to Satan, or unholy. Critical thinking, in one way or another, is discouraged.

  10. The solution is pretty simple. Got a sellout problem? Take power away from the buyers. Repeal Citizens United; make campaign "contributions" illegal with punishment of jailtime, no bond, no parole. That should scare the pasty old bastards into staying out of America's political process.

Every news source (short of maybe Reuters, which is incredibly dry, boring, and event-focused) has a bias. It's the viewer's job to create a theoretical bias-fee analysis in his/her own mind.

  13. Question, if anyone in the comments has a background in programming and/or hacking: is it possible to fake your own source code language? One of the pieces of evidence put forth by Crowdstrike was that the source code of the malware used to hack the DNC was of Russian origin, and used common Russian hacking tactics. This could indicate that it did come from the country itself (which is a step in uncovering the truth), but I'm wondering if that can be faked or disguised- I feel like it could. Any answers? Thanks!

In 1929 and in 2007, "Ordinary Joes" didn't think there would be a market crash, so where do you get off saying that "My paycheck is (bigger/smaller)" automatically means your quality of life is better or worse?
