  1. I like Jim Holt's ideas, but it strikes me as odd that only particular types of realities need a reasonable explanation, as he elaborated on at 13:12. If that's the case, then why did he provide an explanation (via Inflation Theory) only a few seconds later when he said that it wasn't necessary? I'd also like to note that even for a scientist it must be difficult to discern between different types of realities when all (s)he has to work with is our sole reality inside which we are all forced to exist. It's like living in a world painted blue and then trying to describe the color red: near impossible. I'm not trying to completely slander this guy's compilation and presentation; he's obviously very smart, but these were some of the things that I found to be contradictory or flawed.
