@m.l.5284 The west does not need to dominate in order for global markets to continue, and the lack of war is actually because the USSR (and others) got nuclear weapons. If only the West had them, they probably would have used them more often since 1945. Mutually assured destruction is what brought peace. Equal force with the West, not Western dominance.

@af1n They realized that their values meant nothing. Or rather, they never actually stood for them. The US doesn't care about fighting authoritarian governments. Saudi Arabia beheads people for violating Shariah Law, but the US has been their ally for 100+ years now. They only care about Russia and China because they are large countries that are capable of challenging its power. And they see Poland as a useful tool to fight Russia with. Same as with Taiwan, who was also a dictatorship for 40+ years. They have only started talking about Taiwan being a democracy now because it is convenient for them to use as a talking point. They don't care about you and the sooner you realize that is the sooner your eyes will be opened to what you must do.

@m.l.5284 Someone has never worked a store without a manager before. Managers fulfill a role (hiring, firing) that can be assumed by other workers. But a single manager cannot replace the work of the employees. They are inherently more valuable to a business. The managers just keep them in line so theism don't realize how screwed the business is without their labor.
