@dersaegefisch Sure, there were plenty of Nubian Pharaohs, but there are also countless wall paintings where the Nubians are shown as black, Assyrians (or other Mediterranean culture) as white, and themselves as red/brown. But yeah i get the point. It's just funny when a white person tries to promote the idea what white people have no culture.

Slight correction: the images of Tunisians, Syrians, Libyans, etc. - aren't in-line with what the people would have looked like during the Roman era, as it occurred before the Arab invasion, lightening their skin. *Of course, * they didn't look like West Africans (this whole issue seems wrapped up in American racial politics having become globalized), but I think for the sake of accuracy, renditions would have been better- they would have all looked more like modern Berbers.

@junkaccount2535 While you're correct in your assumption that they'd look like their neighboring Arabians, to suggest that they're an 'in-between race' and 'heterozygous' shows an incredible lack of understanding about genetics. Skin color isn't determined by a single pair of genes and that description of them, as a result, is just wrong. The only reason I wanted to comment is because what you said just so happens to line up with the old-Earth creationist view of genetics, as their justification for humans originating in the Middle East (Garden of Eden). I really hope you don't believe any of that. It's garbage.

Dennis Feenstra This one (from the video) started in the Soviet Union: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_chronology_(Fomenko) They were not "feminazis", but had interest in belittling religion and making Russia seem more ancient, relative to other civilizations, than it actually was. Interesting that an American would pick it up for opposite reasons.

Best way I find to stump them (or just make them very mad, fun to troll) is to ask: What kind of evidence would convince you of the other side? Or, What would I need to show you for your mind to be changed? This attacks their fundamental defense, which is to say (when shown some evidence that refutes them): "no, that's fake!" If you get them to say a list of things that they admit would have to make them change, then they cannot say "fake" anymore, and if they do, they look like a liar or a hypocrite.
