@coryryan5547 This is a very strange hill for you to die on. Chinese is among the most information-dense languages on Earth, and you don't need to recognize every little symbol to understand what is being said— context is key. Even in Mandarin. If you're going to make the accusation that Chinese is outdated, I hope you're willing to extend that demand to English, as well. Its entire phonetic system is completely trash, it was standardized just before the Great Vowel Shift, and is also in dire need of an update.

@coryryan5547 Alphabet =/= language. I hope in the 3 years since you've matured at least a little bit. Greece did take many elements of its script from Phonecians, but the structure of the spoken language itself was not. Greeks "invented" vowels only in the sense that they designated separate letters for them. Vowels and consonants have existed for as long as language, and you seem to have confused two separate histories.
