  1.  @l3eatalphal3eatalpha  It doesn't need the US to, it needs China to pass on the gains. If China truly wants to lessen American power, strengthening allies is the best way to do that. I also have to ask if China got it from the US, then surely the US must have a way to developing it without a bigger, richer country to learn the tech from— it has to have been invented somewhere.

  2. I feel the relationship is still unequal— Russia needs assistance to re-industrialize and start entering high-tech manufacturing.

  3.  @ZweiZwolf  In military sectors, not civilian. Even so, it doesn't match the output of China, by even a fraction. To truly challenge the G7, all BRICS countries must have these industries at least somewhat developed.
