@cknorris No, the argument is that the numbers aren't as high as you're implying. Pretty much all Cubans that enter a Western country will get through the system and be registered. Basically there aren't millions of Cubans leaving, the majority of the ones in Miami are descended from the plantation owners under Batista. And the ones who leave now wouldn't have left if not for the embargo (since most of them leave because of poverty). But it's not like Cuba isn't an attractive tourist spot, the US just threatens to sanction any country that does business with Cuba, which hurts the Cuban economy. If Communism is naturally destined to fail, why does the US have to work so hard to force it to happen? Seems like there's something they're not admitting..

@cknorris Most countries that are US-aligned make it easy for refugees from "evil" countries to get registered in the system. It benefits the US politically to parade them around to show their citizens how bad Cuba/China/Iran etc is. Also you act like the researchers can't take illegal unreported numbers into account. You can make estimates based on other metrics where people don't face consequences for being illegal (like Census data or employment in agriculture)

@cknorris Most charitable? Lol. You're a country of Christians that doesn't listen to His teachings, when He said that the man who gives his last nickel is more generous than the wealthy man who donates a fortune. Also most successful... For who? Most other countries don't have mass shootings, have public healthcare and transportation, taxpayer funded college, and better social relations (minus France lol). It's the most powerful because it got lucky hiding behind an ocean for WWII. It didn't climb up past Europe, it just remained standing while everyone else collapsed thanks to the Nazis.
