@seriesmovies4195 Lol, see? You're doing exactly what I'm talking about. Like a child with high ambitions, "mark my words!" You're trying to prove yourself as a nationalistic Turk supporter, without actually having the substance or reason to do it. Turkey will deploy its troops to Azerbaijan, you're right. But it has no actual business there besides looking official. It didn't actually do any work. Russia brought the peace. Now Turkey wants credit for it.

@phonkystan There are no Turks in Karabakh. President Erdogan is trying to take credit for something a turkey didn't do. They didn't end the war, instead they fought in it! Not peacekeepers, but war mongers

@seriesmovies4195 I'm aware of the situation. But the dynamic here is different than what you've just described. Russia alone brokered the peace deal. Turkey was not party to the ceasefire between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Turkey now is just trying to butt in, and insert itself into a situation that's already resolved. To take credit and boost its image as a 'Western, diplomatic, capable' country— rather than an opportunistic regional actor. Imagine a child yelling "I'm part of it too, look at how good I am!" That is Turkey right now. Trying to assert its power as a "diplomat" while fighting for one side of a war. Two-faced.

@sonic9137 Not really, Azerbaijan would likely have dragged out the war and taken even more territory back. You really think Baku would order its soldiers to stop at the foot of Karabakh? Russia stopped further conflict from happening. They convinced both parties to sign the peace deal. Armenia wanted to keep fighting (to defend what they had) and Azerbaijan also wanted to keep fighting (to take it back). By the time Turkey tried to involve itself, the fighting was over.
