@MegrelMamba Why should I care about what happened 200 years ago? The Circassians (those who want to) are coming back from Kazakhstan. Frankly I don't think you really care about that because of the humans suffering— or I'd hear you also complain about what the other European powers (and the US) were doing during that same time. You're pointing out Russian crimes for a political reason— you're Georgian, and you don't like Russia, that's it. You don't actually care about all people equally, only the ones whose suffering you can use against Russia (or any other country you don't like). And the Chechens invaded Russia (Dagestan), they won the first war and could have kept their independence. But instead they invaded, tried to get the locals to declare a jihad on Moscow🤦♂️

Kind of gives away what they think of people from "enemy" countries...

@MegrelMamba Oh and, that last part is ridiculous. The Abkhazians wanted independence from you as far back as Lenin— they fought and earned a separate ASSR, and then Stalin merged it back into Soviet Georgia. It's not a modern Russian invention. Your claim about ethnically cleansing is especially disgusting, because Commander Giorgi Karakashvili went on TV to say that, in response to further Abkhazian aggression from the militants, Georgia would ethnically cleanse the 97,000 Abkhazians who supported Ardzinba. The pot calling the kettle black.

@MegrelMamba Anyways, none of this is my point. Your outrage at Russia's actions aren't based on a genuine care for the Ukrainians. Similar to the gunman, your hatred for Russia is what motivates you here. Not your kindness. I hope you can see all people equally. One day.

Just because Nasrallah is inside a building, that doesn't make it Hezbollah headquarters😂 You act like the location of the HQ wherever he happens to be. No, they just bombed a civilian area where he was staying

@professionalschizo It was pretty "current thing" then, it just fell out of the media cycle by 2016.

He's so, so close to the argument that "there is no ethical consumption under capitalism", but 5 ft from the finish line he just dives back into nationalism.

Not really. It's literally right next to a suburb, while the Pentagon has a good amount of empty space surrounding it. FBI is for internal affairs so it wouldn't be targeted anyway

@diagon2771 Depends. Lenin, Stalin, Trotsky, Maxim Gorky, all fake names. Chekhov went under many pen names. So in business maybe it's not common, but there is a precedent to name-change in Russia, for literary and political reasons.

@paintorian2064 No, that's not true. Georgians are wonderful people. Did you forget what my whole comment was about? You should care for all people equally. Their ideas can (like with this one person) corrupt their thinking and fill them with unjustified hatred— but there is nothing wrong with the Georgian ethnicity.

@dragam9534 Care to explain how that's incorrect? The administration (which started a new political continuity in Ukraine) was hand-picked by the US in 2014. That's about as textbook of a proxy as you can get. As for the rogue part, they didn't follow the US' orders when doing the counteroffensive, and have struck civilian targets inside Russia repeatedly despite not being allowed to.

@kokocaptainqc I hate that this feels accurate... it has the same feeling as all the fast food places raising their prices to $15 for a cheeseburger all at the same time. It's a big jump, but it's just enough that people don't immediately say "hell no". We inch towards hell in small increments

@RainbowRenegade This only makes sense if the comments are clearly foreign- new account, bad English, canned arguments. For example many comments about Zelensky being a clown or a comedian, Russian bots. But the opposite is also true. Ukrainian troll farms are easy to spot too, using 'Ruzzia' and (not sure of the origin) signing off with 'tricky' and two flags, one Western and one Ukrainian. But to Harenko anyone not completely on his side must be a bot. He's utterly convinced of his own argument and cannot fathom that it has any holes or that anyone would oppose it. Or he doesn't care about consistency and is doing anything to volunteer in the information war on Russia. Which is fair, but I wish he'd admit that upfront. Though people might not believe him if he reveals that he'll still argue even if what he says is incorrect. That's dangerous, because it could call the entire narrative surrounding the war into question

@Сайтамен No Russian (or any other) leader would allow their country to be surrounded by a foreign country's military. Sorry.

@FlyingPanda150 Banning opposition media (even those with no ties to Russia), trying to create a new Church out of thin air that's loyal to the government, hiding money away in London, sacking generals for disagreeing (Zaluzhniy)... need I go on?
