  1.  @95MAFS  Economic boom =/= improved quality of life. It has always been a measure of the health of the ~500 top companies in the U.S. and their stock prices, not the median wage or individual metric. Most new jobs created have been benefit-less. Part-time, low wage. The world's trade is slowing due to the China trade war and the government has had to subsidize soy and corn farmers heavily because they otherwise would have failed due to lack of demand.. sounds like welfare to me. As far as Brexit, good luck re-negotiating with your largest trading partner EU, without any of the tariff-free benefits. And dealing with the border with Ireland (because they chose to stay, and no one wants to re-instate the Good Friday agreement. Ready for Irish truck bombs again?) If Brits like healthy food, watch out for America aggressively peddling its hormone-filled beef and unvaccinated poultry, as well as reduced negotiating power (EU vs. China? Leverage. England vs. China? Lmao good luck) But whatever, live in your bubble. I'll be laughing when it bursts.
