  1. ​ @JohnDorian-j7x  I would agree with you if the US hadn't just passed a law banning TikTok and likely has its sights set on Telegram. It's no different to China, it just has a larger pool of satellite states whose companies it allows, giving the illusion that its business environment isn't politically controlled. Also worth mentioning that China, for the period of time that it did dominate Asia, only demanded tributes. Even after inventing gunpowder and working bombs, it didn't try to subjugate other kingdoms— it demanded tribute, but was happy to trade with them. Compare that to the US, who will destroy a country without hesitating because they show even slight signs of political or economic sovereignty (not using the dollar to trade in oil, trying to nationalize industry, etc). Who do you think would be the better world leader?
