you know I am right pp Yeah, but there isn't anything like that yet. Men's vasectomies are completely permanent, so it doesn't make sense to do that for them. Women's biology also makes birth control easier— you just trick the body into thinking it's pregnant (which is what the pill does). There is no male equivalent, so a pill would need to un-naturally stop sperm production. Problem is the only solutions so far have just suppressed sperm production altogether which basically chemically castrates anyone who takes it (testosterone is vital not just for sex drive but also normal function). So we're kind of stuck. It isn't as easy as "why do only women have to take birth control?"
