@TANK0113 Yeah, same with Brazil, Aus and Russia. The pattern is that they're all getting way more out of control at around the same time

Ffs I thought this was the one thing we were doing better at than Brazil :(

@Andrij_Kozak You didn't explain how I was wrong, you just repeated your opinion again. The 'real Rus' was destroyed with the Mongols. All East Slavic nations are children of that first nation. The only connection that was left was the Rurikid Dynasty, which started in Kievan Rus' and continued existing in... Ukraine? No. In Russia. Remember? The Rurikids moved their government to Sudzal in the 1100s, then to Moscow after. Otherwise, there is no real connection to Kievan Rus' anymore. We all share its history equally, whether or not you like it.

@chebbou69 if Russia was fully industrialized, maybe. But it hasn't really developed enough to make use of such lanes. It will likely just tax anyone going through its waters and the oligarchs will sit back, happy with their money while the country falls further and further behind.

@Andrij_Kozak ? No, the territory of Kievan Rus that is now Russia was never mixed with Mongols or Turks. Mongols only collected money, they captured Kiev too so are residents of Kiev Mongols too? Finnic and Turkic people live behind the Urals so Russian culture didn't touch them until 1600-1700s. Russia is Slavic, sorry brother

@imakro69 Yes, but their territory didn't reach deep into northern Rusian territory. There was significant cultural exchange near the Kola Peninsula, but further south (especially near Moscow, Novgorod, Polotsk), it was all firmly Slavic. 'The border' with those tribes is hundreds of miles away lol, and their numbers weren't large enough to change the genetics of the Slavs who had multiplied for centuries. Just because Berlin is a Polabian toponym, does that make Germans Slavic? Is Lviv still a Polish city? Is Johannesburg a mostly white city? The idea that a toponym 100% matches the genetics of the people living there is ridiculous. Russians, Ukrainians, and Belarusians are Slavic.
