@daveklein2826 I don't think the agreement was made under fair terms. One side (the workers) are at an inherent disadvantage, likely poor background (low caste in India), they cannot afford to walk away and refuse to work or they die of starvation. The other side (factory owner) can afford to negotiate because he can afford to lose an employee without consequences to his living situation. If a deal was made, it was certainly unfair.
