  2. Techno shirt It's to teach them that money is limited and that you can do what you want with it, but once you run out, that's it. It's good if you don't want your kids working all day but still want to teach them budgeting.

  3. What's scary to me is... maybe we won't. America is slow to change and impossible to be forced to do something from an outside force. It is much more likely that prisoners will continue to be treated like this over the next 50+ years.

  4. I must respectfully disagree, as an American who has visited Poland and Russia for most of his life. There are certainly dumbasses in every country, as you said, but none are as noticeable or as numerous as those of the American variety. I simply notice more loud, rude people here. And I live in Chicago, and visit Warsaw and St. Petersburg, so I think the comparison is fair. Americans, in my experience, are well-meaning in their actions, but they have no cultural base upon which to base their behaviors, and so resort to individuality as a source of fulfillment.

Weird that you chose a lion as the only animal we could eat, but anyway: once the animal collapses, we'd just break the flesh with our hands and eat it raw- Inuit tribes still posses this ability. Operating on your logic, you could also say that all scavengers (vultures, crows, some beetle species, etc.) should die because they can't kill anything by themselves, and shouldn't eat things 'the unnatural way'. There is nothing wrong with using tools to your advantage- if our ancestors had gone vegan, you wouldn't be around to complain about it.

  8. Wait so the ark is made of acacia? It's a shame that there is no measurement of the thickness of the actual panels of the chest, because then we could reasonably guess how damaged it is/if it survived at all... I mean 3,000 years is a long time to endure, in an age where (as far as we know) there were no sealants or wood protectants available, beyond normal oil.

  20.  @yomansam4689  It's "milked" because it's too obvious to deny, so everyone takes a shot in. Sorry, it's gonna happen. Americans are among the fattest people on Earth, both in literal size and percentage of population. When I was a kid, the ratio was 1/3 overweight, another 1/3 obese. Now it's 40% obese. The only other places that have surpassed the U.S. in that regard are small Pacific islands that, ironically, the U.S. has on multiple occasions blocked from getting into the WTO unless they lift bans on American food products— the reason for our obesity epidemic to begin with. If we're talking about civilians, the majority of Americans wouldn't be able to pursue their attacker.

You do understand that when a test model fails, they have to go back and rework the design- ie square one? And no, the stated reason was because keeping up with Russia and China was more important, so the budget was re-allocated. And "it'll almost certainly show um in the army a Marines in the future." was said of hypersonics two decades ago when the US first researched them XD
