@anderelamaro3815 You're looking at it from an American point of view. "Look at how weak their men are, they just need to strong and free, like us!" Sizing up military capability from an individualist point of view is what Hitler did against the Soviets. "Clearly, they're untrained Communist untermen who don't possess our superior cultural characteristics!" When push comes to shove, they'll fight. And 3:1 ratio in China's favor. Not saying I like their government, but don't underestimate an adversary, ever. Especially not how you did.

@ChucksSEADnDEAD Then take the Battle of Thermopylae. Logistically, the Spartans had the advantage, not only having home field advantage but also funneling the Persian army through the Thermopylae pass. After all that fighting, the Greeks ultimately lost. That battle, not the war (the Greeks ultimately did starve off Persian conquest). But my point stands. Even with a vastly technologically superior fleet, war is still a numbers game. Eventually, when the drones run out, you need humans to fight. And spending 5 average soldiers to kill 1 superb one is a better investment long-term. Way easier to mass produce than battle-hardened warriors.
