I mean in some cases it is actually useful but companies will always have the upper hand over consumers— even if money (campaign "finance") is taken out of politics, and lobbyists can only give information, they will still have more time to spend with those politicians, more training in making convincing arguments, and there will be more of them to spread their arguments. So I think it should die out, but something should replace it (laws for tech do need to be made)
