I guess, but other countries don't seem to have this problem. Spain's gov't nationalized their payroll, no extreme closure spikes like we have here. And when it's over, they'll go back to normal, like they've demonstrated before. You can hate the government for its incompetence, but to shun its potential capability in the middle of a crisis is just foolish. Unless, you've got a "small government" solution to a virus that spreads across small governments' jurisdictions?...

@cowbless Unfortunately, that's the best most people can do. It's logistically a nightmare to pony up enough for real investments, even if you save every penny and live like a spartan. Plus if inflation-adjusted savings accounts were universal, we'd have a stunted economy.
