@snarkylive You can argue that "communism cannot exist" but to accuse him using a No True Scotsman is just wrong. He listed criteria that specifically make something Communist and all states proclaiming to be Communist do not have these. Thus, they are not Communist. This isn't like defending bad people who "aren't real Christians!", there is a clear set of requirements to meet. And I think you should be aware of the fact that Marx never intended for either Russia or China to go through a Revolution, as their working class was too small and would ultimately fall to the elites in the end (which they did, following Stalin's rise to power). It has never been attempted outside of an existential-threat situation where a country is already unstable.

@马伯罗 Preserve traditions? Then why are Uighurs now required to learn about Chinese culture in schools instead of their own? Why are they required to shave their beards and abandon their religion? China is not supporting their traditions, it wants to destroy them. Same with Tibet and Hong Kong.

@Sean You've contradicted yourself multiple times in this thread. You accuse the other commenter of being indecisive and cherry picking a definition of Communism, then say that "Communism" requires authoritarian control, then go on to cherry pick your own definition of Communism, and call it (Anarcho-Communism) "true Communism"— if that's so, why'd you use the prefix? You need to define your terms more consistently.
