@AChunkyDog Don't like him either (personally, anyway) but at least he understood the protocols that have been built up over dozens of administrations, like knowing that you don't know better than military generals, how to achieve peace in the Middle East, or how the opioid crisis is not something 45 discovered yesterday. Insiders are prone to corruption, but they know their way around the system. Which is more than I think we can say about Trump (that was part of his appeal, after all).

@cbot375 Yeah, but banks hold a lot of people's money.. they go down, FDIC insurance can't cover it all and you've fucked millions of people over. This is what people mean by "too big to fail"- not that the gov't chooses to prop them up at all costs (although that is true), but they mean we literally can't afford for them to fail. Lesser of two evils. Justice by putting bank executives and lobbyists in jail, or collapse Americans' finances?
