Eh, it wouldn't change much. A wall doesn't stop the majority of illegals coming through, because they mostly come in legally on a work visa, then overstay. You wanna stop the immigration? Help Mexico fix itself, by legalizing drugs down there. The cartels will go out kicking and screaming, Mexico might fall, but if it doesn't, it'll be a new era for relations between our two countries.

@dandroff1512 No, it will solve what it addresses. People will continue to human traffic, kidnap, and murder, until they are de-incentivized to do so. Are you telling me no other country on Earth has people who do this? These things only happen in the U.S.? That's a joke. Humans will be humans, whether or not you like it. Poland was politically unified against the Soviet Union for the last 70 years, until it gained independence and realized it had people in its own country causing problems, too. The world isn't just made of countries. It's made of people. And those people need to helped, or stopped. People will stop looking to hard drugs for pleasure when their lives offer more fulfillment to them than drugs can.

Alfonso G Lol, lizards are cold blooded. Unless the elites are all in Africa they'd all die from their bodies shutting down. Open your eyes to the world. They're not ducking reptiles, they're just very greedy and corrupt, David Icke.

@Trump-yb4nn Just like they ended the insurgent groups in Afghanistan? Good luck. The climate is similar, people are isolated, you don't know the territory, it would never work. No. Mexico needs to out-compete its own cartels, by expanding outwards from Mexico City and legalizing drugs in its borders. The cartels will have no appeal, and will die.

@Aebarman I wouldn't put it past the U.S.. I'm sure it's comforting to think that you're the good guys, and that the worst of it was a few bad apples. But the CIA had waged a full-scale drug war in Laos during the Vietnam War, and had already overthrown Mexico's president a decade earlier. They would absolutely do it, and I suspect they did.

@dandroff1512 Lol, that's like asking people not to socialize. It's in our nature to be curious and try things that make us feel good. Drugs will always exist, so the best we can do is minimize any damage caused by it. Open up heroin treatment clinics, and legalize the stuff you can't OD on.
