@Dean_WeAreTheShow Fine, we'll get specific. We want 'soft money' (general campaign welfare funds- not explicitly endorsing a candidate, but spent on the 'party building activities') to be capped. This is what allows, effectively, unlimited funding of political campaigns through clever wording. Citizens United really only got rid of the 30 (before primaries) and 60 (before general elections) day ban on electioneering, or issue-based campaign spending by companies and PACs. And where the hell did you get the notion that "limits on campaign funds" means "a propagandized mob... having the only voice in politics"?! And since when do we refer to a democracy as a 'mob'? Don't tell me you're a monarchist. It sounds to me like you're the one who's passionate about something you know nothing about. We want to place limits on 'soft money' spent by corporations and PACs. That doesn't mean they're barred from spending completely- they can legally spend north of $35,000 and the soft money cap can be set at ~$1M- it just means they can't overwhelm other voices with their 'speech' (Independent Expenditures). Got it?

@d4n4nable Sounds to me like the government is oppressing the will of the people.. Jefferson gave explicit instructions for the people to revolt and reform the government as they see fit. Sorry, but the Constitution isn't Gospel (itself being even more flawed than the former), and it can and will be changed. If it doesn't serve the people of this country, why the fuck keep it in place? If it is not promoting Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness, then it's not worth upholding.
