@TruthfullySpeaking500 There is a difference. What you lose in mobility with the things you described, you gain back in speed. However, your speed doesn't change much with your walking style, but hitting your heel stepping into your stride sends the pressure straight up into your knee. Hitting your midfoot reduces pressure about 12%, and that is usually the difference, in older people, between another decade of walking, and knee surgery.
