@AnythingbutThi5 Wait, so they shot the movie twice? Once (normally) in France and twice (pedophilic) by Netflix? I thought the French version just got dubbed or subbed over. If there's a 'no twerking' guarantee then I think at least some people would be more open to its actual, anti-sexualization message

@MusicandGamesandStuf In France, (at least officially) all citizens, regardless of heritage, are considered French. She's Senegalese, but embraced French culture. Apparently the movie is a sort of memoir since she herself did some crazy things before realizing that neither strict Islam nor secular sex-craze are the right path
