Idk, sugar is an addictive substance, behavioral changes are documented with high intake of drugs (sugar included- it also produces withdrawal symptoms like a drug). Plus, humans are animals, and our behavior isn't logical, it's predictable and probabalistic. So I wouldn't say it's his fans, it's what he's eating. Sorry if that doesn't juve with the personal responsibility angle, but willpower only takes you so far- it has limits, and believing it doesn't is naive.
