  1. It's probably stunted development. These people grew up in an industry where youth is prized above all else (beauty products, plastic surgery etc) and their fans— the demographic that adores them— are often younger. They never had real normal life experiences because everything is always opportunity for content and they have to spend most of their time focusing on content instead of gaining life experience. I don't think 100% of the people who abuse others are pdfs, but that kind of environment and culture can skew someone's view of what's acceptable so far out that its indistinguishable from the real thing.
