Brazil and many Latin American countries are technically higher on the list of gun deaths per 100,000, but that's almost exclusively because of US arms sales to those countries lol Also most of it is cartel violence, not normal citizens who are sick in the head. It's the unpredictability of it and the fact that the US is supposed to be a developed country that makes it so pathetic

@thinkharder9332 You didn't understand my comment. Deaths per 100,000. It's a percentage. 100,000 is not even close to the total number of deaths across an entire continent. Also...are you slow or something? Without strict security, guns will get smuggled in anyways from neighboring countries where it is legal... like the US. Most cartel guns are smuggled through Texas. Another good chunk come through Guatemala. Basically, kill the US gun industry and the violence will be greatly reduced. I would need stats on non-gang affiliated deaths, since the CDC isn't legally allowed to collect gun violence data, and the FBI only studies mass shootings, with a very vague definition. So where did you get that from?
