I think the media is starting to ramp up the rhetoric around the Iraq War because Bush is nearing the end of his life. This way, once the media hits its peak, Bush will probably already be dead, and the US can claim that it still has a moral high ground because it "recognized its mistakes". The apologies will flow in once those responsible have 100% escaped consequences. They just wait until he dies because then the US is never forced to actually make good on their promise, and they can say shit like, "We'd ABSOLUTELY send Bush to trial, UNLIKE WHAT PUTIN IS DOING NOW)(may as well mention him, 2 birds one stone), but unfortunately he's gone! But believe us when we say we're VERY sorry"

@blackwatertv7018 I mean... many in my family object to the invasion now, but it doesn't stop Europe and US from making their lives worse. I think Americans should have been sanctioned, until they revolted against Bush and rewrote the Constitution. That's what sanctions are for, no? To make peoples lives so miserable that they ride up against the government
