@proger1960 They're not the ones claiming to stand for freedom and democracy. Russia's line is 'stability', and that includes dictators. Think of Hussein and Gaddafi. How are Iraq and Libya doing now? Are they democratic paradises yet, did the Americans prove their right to meddle?

@L M Technically, I'd have to give him that one. While Tim Berners Lee established the idea itself, the implementation was first done in the western US, between university. Not to mention the huge investment and development by DARPA in the 80s.

And you wonder why the world hates not only the American government, but oftentimes American people.
