  3. Wow. I always had a healthy deal of respect for public defenders (they do thankless work and are consistently underpaid compared to lawyers in private practices. In addition to that, there's a shortage of them, so they're usually overworked, too. I guess they can't all be angels.

  4. Wouldn't any combination outside of XY or XX cause developmental and/or genetic problems? There are such things as transgender and intersex but their chromosomes aren't any different, usually it's something developmental in the womb that causes the discrepancy between sex and gender.
