@AW-zk5qb ...It's nice for those whom the US favors. If you're a third-world country, and (for instance) want to sell oil in euros instead of dollars, or want to nationalize a British colonial oilfield in your own country, then it's anything but a 'Pax'.

@gae_wead_dad_6914 Actually, Russia does produce all of the military-grade chips that it needs. It doesn't have Chinese-level of capability (14nm) but it simply designs its hardware around the software limitation. Also, Soviet cameras were actually very good And... Canon and Honda are Japanese not American lol And if you are Japanese, what does Japan have for semiconductor chips? They don't make anything, Taiwan does

@MarceccMC Calling others delusional, but doesn't know that TSMC doesn't do lithography lol

@timokohler6631 Yes, that's the point. The cycle continues until we run out of countries. At that point, the US will likely feel more comfortable trying to enter Russian markets and wrest control of industries, profiting from them.

@gae_wead_dad_6914 "were always shit" Mind explaining why, after losing 40% of territory, it's still the largest country on earth then? Couldn't have been that shit to expel and defeat dozens of Khanates and wipe the floor with the Ottomans, Swedes, Poles, and Germans (Lend Lease started halfway through the war lol, looks like someone is seething over Zhukov's achievements)-- not to mention the sweet revenge on Japan in Manchria

@gae_wead_dad_6914 Nice job moving the goalposts Also... you mean the same army that took most of Europe? With time to prepare, and longer time as industrialized empires? Yeah, I think the soviets did a pretty good job

@gae_wead_dad_6914 Lol, looks like someone's forgetting: Russia is flat and pretty empty When Hitler invaded the USSR, he had all the resources of Western Europe at his disposal and it still wasn't enough))

@timokohler6631 It's a game of chicken and egg: Russia threatens because of NATO expanding, NATO expands because of Russian threats

@ApurvJyotirmay Why does everyone use childish analogies? "(An entire country) is a bully!" "You're the bad guys, we're the good guys!" "We need to put Putin in his place!" What is this, a reality show? Stop reducing geopolitics to a comic book
