@Ali-bu6lo I have to call bullshit, I cant imagine an Islamic Republic thinking there will be another Messiah or prophet after the final one (Muhammad). Claiming that they're ideologically motivated is a Western way of minimalizing their rationality and maximizing their percieved threat. I dont think they'll ever become less extreme with a new "President" but they are a nation with a strong memory of Western interference in their political affairs. Their motivation is probably more geostrategic. If it were ideological they wouldn't have waited to unleash Hezbollah onto Israel.
