@looinrims Just want to let you know that the terrorists you're referring to built the plant to begin with. The elephant in the room, I think, is that Western discourse steers away from nuclear because it's seen as 'captured by the enemy'. Rosatom leads the world in nuclear energy research, several years ahead of the US and EU, while China and India lead the world in new plant production. Why hasn't capital investment boomed in those industries, if governments have all agreed to reduce emissions? Because Western capital first needs to feel like its profits won't be siphoned off to a foreign country.

@jooptablet1727 Notice he reused the entire clip of the rising demand for metals. I'm afraid he's going the path of What I've Learned, except instead of the meat industry it's shady financing

@jooptablet1727 (At risk of this sounding rich), I feel most of the edutainment channels have gone down in quality since the Ukraine conflict began. They focus more on putting videos out rather than carefully researching to make sure their arguments are sound. I guess the algorithm favors that topic over tech or logistics-based videos now. Polymatter, Infographics Show, Adam Something (that one's obvious), seem to have ceded ground to wishful thinking rather than objective analysis. At least there's still Perun, but he does war stuff exclusively.

@jooptablet1727 Not sure. Infographics Show in particular has pivoted almost completely to it— although I guess it's expected since they did military buff content before. I just hope when it's all over the quality returns

@hunteryan Nope, US needs to as well. As does Russia and Indonesia, Brazil etc. The longer we play the blame game the more damage will to unavoidable in the future. Governments need to put their pride aside and share technology to develop as much nuclear and renewables tech as possible. Even if that means "aiding the enemy", it's preferable to being dead.
