 @XenosImplyer South Korea is trying to have its cake and eat it too. Until Samsung (among others) is forced to pay higher wages, nothing will change.

@mindsauce3 It does. The Nordic countries have housing stock set aside for the homeless, so anyone who loses their house is immediately housed (with address, you can apply for a job). The USSR also had very little if any homeless. Housing was a right written into their Constitution. Controlling (or outright disallowing, for free housing) rent increases is a drop in the bucket for a country's budget. The only reason they don't want to is because landlords rightly fear the effect it would have on market rates

@shindavid6484 No, that indicates that the content will soon follow. If they're willing to do that to 'survive,' it's not long before they'll do other things. In the case of CaspianReport, Shirvan has started taking some very shady sponsors and not addressing commenters' concerns over his ethnical standards.

@bm6110 Lol, all the nice places to live are facing the same problem. Germany, UK, France, South Korea, Japan, Finland, Norway, Australia. If immigration slows down the US will be in the same boat. You really gonna go to some Islamic country where they don't tax people because everyone has 6 kids? Lol
