@melanie3500 it’s simple- he’s innocent until the verdict rolls in and says otherwise. Your comment presumes he’s guilty and therefore should be punished by having to listen to testimony. The only reason why most haven’t heard if this before is that most defendants want to be in court. But they don’t HAVE to be.

@honeybadger3570 ⁠⁠⁠Darryl broke was his OWN lawyer!! You can’t be your own attorney and also not be in court 😂. Adam isn’t representing himself so he doesn’t HAVE to be there. It’s NOT a state by state thing. And why would this matter in appeal? The court has it on record that he didn’t want to be there. He doesn’t magically get to say later on “but they wouldn’t let me attend my own trial!”. Everything is always on record.
