  1. There’s always a good reason why people end up the way they do and that reason is almost always the parents. Kinda reminds me of Cindy watts who didn’t blame her son Chris for k!lling his two toddler daughters and wife. Nope she blamed the murdered wife for that 🤦🏻‍♀️.

  2. Psychopaths are narcissists and most ppl who k!LL their own family are narcs, not psychos. Chad doermann, Chris watts, Anthony Todt , Casey Anthony… all narcs. With that being said, my mother isn’t a narc but she suffers from depression and that means postpartum depression too. She abandoned my brother when he was 2 and I have borderline personality disorder, which means she likely left me crying in my crib all the time- which F’d up my brain. So depression CAN cause ppl to do some seriously bad sht. With that being said, her lack of remorse does scream narcissism and the way her parents coddle her also screams it (it’s developed when a child is either severely abused or severely spoiled). So I believe it’s a nice little mixture of both. Being that the baby was so young she likely still had severe postpartum and zero empathy from the narcissism. Also- the fact that she thought she was going to go home? Yeah that’s def narc delusion from grandiosity! (Good call on your part)

  3. I have borderline personality disorder which usually comes with anxiety, depression and also ADHD. I’m a hot mess on my worst days but do ok in general now that I have some coping skills. Let me say that NONE of this excuses child abuse and neglect. Unless you’re so far gone that you don’t realize you’re a human living on earth… I don’t wanna hear it.

  4. And THIS is why I could never be a court appointed defense attorney. Can you imagine being OBLIGATED to defend her? Every single person in that courtroom that was heavily involved in this case likely has PTSD now, from the detectives that so graciously spoke on behalf of the baby girl to that defense lawyer who had a hard time holding it together. I can’t fathom knowing the details and seeing the pictures. Even that medical examiner sounded traumatized (certainly angry). 😢

  6.  @NotIfWhen my mom suffers from depression and she abandoned my baby brother when he was 2 because of her postpartum (she straight up moved to another country). It took me years to forgive her after I learned about this as an adult (my cousin told me). But at LEAST she left him with his dad and not alone 🤦🏻‍♀️. That takes a whole new level of… I don’t even know.

  9. It IS mental illness, BUT that doesn’t excuse ANYTHING she did. If you’re able to tell the difference from right and wrong then it’s your responsibility to seek help for your issues and not go on vacation KNOWING your baby will d!e. In fact I wonder if she did it with that hope in mind because how can you expect to come home to an alive baby? My mother also had postpartum depression and as a result left her 2 year old baby (first born) with her husband and moved to another continent on a whim. I hated her for that when I learned about it as an adult and she’s probably also responsible for me having all sorts of severe mental illnesses because emotional neglect will screw up a human being in irreversible ways when that person is a very young child, but I’m working on forgiving her. At least she didn’t leave us abandoned for over a week as babies. Unbelievable 😡. My ONLY point in saying that this IS mental illness is because Americans lack understanding of how messed up our country is. HALF of Americans have a mental illness. HALF. Let that sink in. But that’s almost never an excuse to do something like this. Unless your brain is mush it’s just NOT an excuse. I’ve been severely depressed most of my life (I also have borderline personality disorder) and I know to never ever hurt or neglect those under my care (mostly my pets). It’s also why I chose to end my pregnancy and not pass my sht onto a helpless child. I don’t think this woman realizes the severity of what she did- thinking she’s going HOME? 🤦🏻‍♀️

  11. Believe it or not it was TWO decades ago now. And did you notice that Casey’s mother covered for her and lord to police to protect her? Now let’s talk about Chris watts- he k!lled his 2 little girls and his mother ALSO defended him. See a pattern? Welcome to narcissism! The parents create the disorder in their kids because they are also narcissists. It’s the gift that keeps on giving 🤮

  12.  @irenegonzalez201 please don’t feel bad for Cindy. She is Casey Anthony but 30 years older. Narcissists don’t magically become that way. Casey is the way she is because of her mother who lied to detectives to cover for her. In fact, almost all narc parents cover for their kids (the woman in this video, Brian laundry, Chris watts…). Cindy only stopped protecting her when Casey accused George of SA and that forced her to shift gears because that was more of a threat to Cindy. When a child is THIS messed up- always look to one or both parents to figure out why. Narcissism is passed down through abuse and emotional neglect. Poor caylee likely would have developed it too had she had the opportunity to, seeing as how 2 parental figures in her life had it. But George is an empath and sometimes that can negate the impact. But clearly not always (Casey is an example). Narc parents are the birthers of cluster B personality disorders. My dad was a narc and I have borderline PD because of the ab*se I endured. The ab*se literally mutates the child’s brain and we develop these disorders because of it. At least I know it tho and am in therapy. Narcissists aren’t capable of getting better because they refuse to admit they are the problem. Go back and watch Cindy’s interviews (man she sure loves to be on tv!!) and keep what I’ve said in mind. Watch how she railroads grow the and shames him all the time. She’s a very sick woman who is solely responsible for her daughter becoming a malignant narcissist (which is one step away from sociopathy).

Especially since HALF of us suffer from it. And in no way am I excusing her. I have f’n borderline personality disorder (ie: the most painful mental disorder out there) because my mother had postpartum depression and neglected my emotional needs as a baby (seeing as how she abandoned my bigger brother in another continent at age 2- that’s not a stretch), and I wouldn’t hurt a fly. May be very mentally I’ll but I know the difference between right and wrong. So does she. She’s a horrible person and I hope that prison is not kind to her.

  14. That’s how this happens. Narcissist parents cause their children to become narcissists and it’s the gift that keeps on giving. Just like Chris Watts’ mom who she’s like one year for her de@d toddler grand babies thta her son k!lled and then swiftly blamed it all on the mother (who he also k!lled… because THAT’s logical. Narcs NEVER take responsibility and if their kids do something they extend that to them. 🤮

She SAID she didn’t for see anything like this happening 🙄 but even if she didn’t k!LL that sweet girl- she would have SEVERELY traumatized her for life just by not tending to her when she cried. That’s how borderline personality develops (speaking from personal experience). This woman had no business being a mother. This is why we need to keep abortion legal, not that her Catholic butt would use it 🙄.

  16. 50:11 I love her lawyer. You can tell he loathes her for real with his uncomfortable body language (self- body hugs are a self-soothing gesture). But more so- he called her out for being a narcissist!! And that’s exactly what she is. I’m sure she also had postpartum depression but it’s the narcissism that told her it’s fine to go on vacation for 10 days and leave her baby to die a slow de@th because narcs don’t have empathy. Not a care in the world for the suffering of others. And it really doesn’t get more evil than a narcissist. They are the family killers we have all come to know: Casey Anthony, Chris watts, and now Chad doermann… yes, narcissism IS a mental illness (it mutates the brain) but they know exactly what they’re doing and that it’s illegal and dangerous and they do it anyway because THEY DONT CARE WHO THEY HURT. I hope this man gets some peace after having to defend this monster and I hope she lives a long and agonizing life in prison.

  17. I have severe mental illness and all I can say is- when you’re this horrible of a human being to do something like THIS, it’s the only card you can play… even though it will NOT work. It’s infuriating because it makes the rest of us look like monsters and further stigmatized mental illness which is the opposite of what we should be doing seeing as how half of Americans have it. On another note- my mother is practically her (mental illness wise). My mom suffers from depression and that means postpartum depression too. she abandoned my oldest brother when he was 2 (with her husband) to run off with a man she had just met TO ANOTHER COUNTRY. He is my father. It’s like postpartum depression numbs the brain and stops an emotional bond from developing with your own child then you look for something to self medicate with and that then becomes more important than your own baby. For this psych0 it was men and a vacation. For my mom it was a new man and an new LIFE. I didn’t get off Scott free either. My mother likely had postpartum with me too. Which would explain how I developed borderline personality disorder, a severe mental illness which is rooted in an intense fear of abandonment, which happens when the young child is actually abandoned in a time of need (for a long period of time or on a regular basis). If anyone ever says they are depressed and they are a new mother- thats a GIANT red flag- and they need treatment immediately.

  18.  @tringe22 that’s not accurate. Not everyone has anxiety. What IS correct is that half of Americans have a mental illness. And yes that includes anxiety and depression… which snowballs into substance use disorder, amongst other things.

  23.  @shannysunshine8389 you do realize that mentally I’ll people can tell the diff between right and wrong? She can be both mentally ill AND be a murderer. And that’s the case here. If a human being ever does something antisocial- it’s because they’re mentally I’ll. That includes cluster B personality disorders which cause a mutation in the brain.
