  1. I’m so SICK of “abstinence only” education, that is to say NO education around safe sex. Alexee has to own what she did. Point blank. But I have to say this- she is this way because of her lun@tic mother who is 100% emotionally unavailable at best and a narcissist at worst. That’s why Alexee is also emotionally unavailable and has diminished empathy. She was terrified to tell her own mother that she was pregnant. Even when it was SUPER obvious. That means her family Culture shames pregnancies out of wedlock or for whatever other reason. I mean her own mother didn’t bother to prove either. That’s what emotionally checked out parents do! Avoid emotional conversations. A.T. didn’t feel safe being honest about it and this is the result of both that and never providing a safe space for your child where they feel loved without conditions . I am the child of 2 parents like this and it FUKKKKKS you up. I have borderline personality disorder as a result and am in therapy to mitigate the damage. Again Alexee has to own what she did. But this girl, whose brain isn’t even close to being finished developing (hence “girl”) was set up to fail in life. What a HORRIBLE mother 😖
