  2. Well they had evidence for the addiction too. It was well documented way before the murders that Paul and Maggie were on his ass about his pill addiction. Which is why some of us speculate that it was a motive for him. But there’s no way all the money went to that. Hookers and blackmail is my guess. Maybe gambling too. He’d be an easy guy to blackmail considering all the crap he pulled.
