Yes, but the right conditions must be created first, and those are not just "mindset." Tangible environment matters: the kind of people you are surrounded by, the way you spend your day, the type of worj you do, etc. ' Regardless of your mindset, you cannot be happy with a person whose nature does not align with who you are; at least not if you expect to have an actual relationship with them. People often think that the feeling can come just by wishing it, expressing "gratitude" and some such. That's coping. Tangible, external conditions matter but it is on the individual to procure the right kind.

Internally-driven unhappiness, meaning due to the individual's genetic make-up, is rare. Moist of the unhappiness has to do with the "soil" which is external. This can range anywhere from being in unsuitable environments that do not align with who the individuals is at the core. It's insane to think that living in the wrong environment, with unsuitable people can be conducive to happiness as long as the inner life is auto-regulated. We are fundamentally social creatures and must fit in our social environments for contentment and happiness to emerge.
