@michael-hw1uv You are supremely correct but the masses of men out there will always miss the point and continue to focus on a crass minority of purely materialistic, shallow women who just wanna shop on daddy's sugar and nothing else. I always remind people of the genius of Tolstoy who may have understood women better than any man. Karenin was a Top 10%-er with many marks of success. Connection. Companionship. Communication/Intimate conversation. Inner Compatibility. Mutual Affection. You make her feel understood, as if she can learn a lot from you; she looks up to you and you make her feel as if life is worth living - and not because she can shop on your dough. Pull this off with a woman first, then get back to us about how much she cares about your money and status. Unless you're something outrageous like a beggar or criminal - and even that won't deter many women, per poster above. Excellent observation.

Yes!! But it's not enough for her to merely select you, because many women select pragmatically, until they find their true love. Make sure you are hers.

@robchurch881 If both did, it would be great, because more people would freed up from poor match relationships to pursue a good match. Unfortunately society still clings to dogmatic notions of "make marriage work at any cost" instead of teaching people how to make divorce work - yes, for the sake of the children. Divorced people can easily remain loving, cooperative co-parents and good friends if they deal with their egos, and expect strong support in this matter from their new partners (hopefully chosen with a lot more wisdom this time). Modern society needs more and better divorce, not less.

@jacksquat4140 They want that their entire life but for a while, they must focus on enough security for offspring. A "bad boy" who can give her that sense of connection and life is worth living, but also make her feel secure, has that woman enslaved to him for all eternity.

@HenrySomeone So then what? You insist on a woman who doesn't want to be with you anyway? Maybe humanity only needs the spawn of the top 20% males at this point. NATURE: Spring cleaning time!!

I got tired just hearing about the whole tortuous process driven by hard male logic. Poor dudes. Rofl. Is it so hard to understand that a woman (at least one of some substance) wants an actual whole human, and if he has some resources too, this is icing on the cake? A woman of substance will always prefer a man who makes her heart sing over a top 10%-er with all the markers of success who simply ...doesn't. Remember: Karenin was a top 10%-er with many markers of success. Take notes.
