With the general conversational questions like - "What do you listen to" or "What is your favourite game", I think most people have a pre-set answer for those and it doesn't change much, it is just an ice breaker to move on to more interesting topics or to find shared interests and ideas and connect better with the person. As with a lot of these questions, I usually state "everything pretty much", with just an emphasis on what comes to mind or what I can remember recently enjoying, this gives me the freedom to not stress about it but to be specific if I want to, but those questions can sometimes still take me by surprise.

  4. When a pet dies, depending on the bond between you, it can feel like losing a member of your family instead of "just a pet", and it is sad not to enjoy having them in your life any more, it is good they are no longer in pain, and you can keep your memories and share the good times.

Careful consumption, I agree, everyone should to be careful with things like the news as sometimes you can absorb them in a constructive way and sometimes they can be destructive for your mental wellbeing. It is also good to know that you can't control your own thoughts or ideas, so you shouldn't blame yourself for the negativity in your own head or thought loops.

  11. As they say - just do it, the time is now. Comparing yourself to your past self can be helpful a lot of the time, but it can also be counter-productive if you are in a different situation or unable to perform like before, adjusting expectations can be an alternative to situations like this, and still being happy with the result - for instance like with Skateboarding

  19. Amazing progress! It's nice to have a goal but be careful putting too much pressure and training into this new area, I'm sure you have other goals with the other exercises you do and you want to keep an eye on your progress in all areas, not just in running.

I find myself on the other end of this spectrum - I play a good variety of games and I like to finish as far as I can, there is so many great games and even small ones that I can't wait to move on to the next one and there are a bunch that I know I don't have time for right now to learn or add to my currently played list, but there are also games that just need some time to come back to or require friends to enjoy more, but I do find that prioritising is more important now and understanding what value a game represents before playing is important. It is sometimes sad to see so many hidden gems unplayed or unappreciated for the work and even love that went into making them.

  22. "nobody cares" is both a useful and sad reality, assumptions can really push you the wrong way sometimes but being happy with "the way things are" is key I think. "Grinding" in games and life are crucial, building the right habits can really help. "391 Days/ 9384 hours", It is interesting to see your hours count for a game, not far off of the 10k but there is quite a difference between a productive hour and a relaxed hour, be it gaming or working on a project. I wonder if it is possible to dive into other aspects of your life looking at numbers like that - time skating, with friends, in education, working, because when you look at something like work - sometimes from all of those hours which are exchanged for money, the money is gone and nothing is left...
